Sports massage and recovery therapy provided by Kensei Lab is intended to support recovery, movement, mobility, and muscular wellbeing.

Treatments provided are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, or emergency medical treatment.

7. Health Disclosure

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information prior to treatment, including:

• Medical conditions

• Injuries

• Medications

• Pregnancy

• Allergies

• Recent surgeries

• Other relevant health concerns

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect treatment suitability and outcomes.

8. Consent to Treatment

By attending an appointment, clients voluntarily consent to sports massage and manual therapy treatment.

Clients understand that:

• Results may vary between individuals

• Temporary soreness may occur after treatment

• No guaranteed outcomes are provided

Clients may withdraw consent or request treatment adjustments at any time during the session.

9. Liability Waiver

While all reasonable care and professionalism will be exercised during treatment, clients acknowledge that sports massage and manual therapy involve inherent risks.

Kensei Lab shall not be held liable for:

• Undisclosed medical conditions

• Failure to follow aftercare advice

• Aggravation resulting from withheld health information

• Injuries unrelated to negligent practice

Nothing within these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful under UK law.

10. Professional Indemnity & Insurance

Kensei Lab maintains appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance relevant to the services provided.

Insurance coverage applies only to treatments performed within the scope of professional qualifications, training, and insured practice.

11. Appointment Policy

Clients are responsible for attending appointments on time.
Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time.

12. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests to reschedule should be made in writing to hello@kenseilab.co.uk with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to the full cost of the service.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice may result in the full session fee being charged.

13. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of appointment unless otherwise agreed.

Kensei Lab reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice.

14. Results Disclaimer

Individual treatment outcomes vary depending on multiple factors including injury history, lifestyle, training load, and recovery compliance.

Kensei Lab does not guarantee specific treatment outcomes or performance improvements.

Client information and health records will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
